The ICEF Berlin Workshop 2009 had a record attendance and once again proved to be the largest international workshop for contacts between educators and student recruitment agents.

From 1 to 3 November 2009, over 1,000 participants from 92 countries met at the Berlin InterContinental to attend one of the 22,744 pre-scheduled business meetings. They used this platform to meet with already existing and new cooperation partners and discuss the latest trends from the world of international education. Education professionals appreciate this unique possibility to hook up with numerous agents and representatives from around the world that meet the high quality standards of ICEF.

This year, the Berlin Workshop featured, for the first time, a "Work & Travel Zone" where participants could meet with providers of work and travel programs, trainings, internships, as well as au pair and gap year programs. Anca Radoi-Bodnarescu from IntoEdVentures (USA), exhibitor at the Work & Travel Zone, was thrilled: "I was pleased to meet well prepared agents eager to discuss business opportunities".
